The Alexander Way

The Alexander Wang Carmen Sandal
Windsor Smith Milan Sandal $75.00 From Myer
Betts Milan B $99.99 from Betts
Polly heel $79.95 from Novo
Baker Heel on sale $20.00 from Rubi Shoes

Lately I haven't been able to take my eyes off these Alexander Wang inspired heel. The design is so simple yet look absolutely smashing on the female foot, its unreal. So i thought if anyone is a little like me and cant quite manage to fork our between $300 and $500 for one pair of shoes I'd put a little post together of a similar design available elsewhere that will allow our budget some room to expand! Let me know what you think, hope you all had a fabulous weekend xoxo

Little Lady Lara

Its not a secret how much i adore Lara Bingle, sometimes I do however, surprise myself. Im not exactly sure what it is about her that I am drawn to; I almost feel as though it is everything, from the way she allegedly blurts out at a Cleo swimsuit party that she "cannot wait to have lots of sex with her boyfriend", (and such other public misdemeanours) to her intrinsic way of making everything she wears look so outrageously good that I almost want to not like her. I was a tragic viewer of Being Lara Bingle on channel 10 and even went the lengths of getting upset when I saw bad reviews... This perhaps friendship (rather than obsession) let us call ithas led me to wanting to share my love for all things Lara with you. I hope you love her as much as I do

October, in a whirl

October seemed to disappear as quickly as it began! I still cant believer its well and truly November. How quick has this year gone! A whirl wind of photos from a whirl wind kind of month. In no particular order I, fell in love with Gold Coast designed, Moana Bikini Swimwear argh they are all so gorgeous. I still haven't made a purchase because i just cant seem to decide! I per usual, attended markets. You will soon see I love the markets! Spring was well under way at College, the beautiful Jacaranda tree's made me forget about my awfully long train rides! I finished my last job, and started new at Ally Fashion just for over Christmas, had waaaay to many indulging Chai latte's, let my Bali girl become a mini picaso and as per every month basically lived at the beach. Weeee what will the rest of November bring? The 10th already brought a beautiful little boy into the world, Jeremiah! And trust me he is beautiful! Im very proud of my very strong, very wonderful best friend, well done Molly.

yes, Sir.

Military Jackets

Its not really my thing, winter that is. I probably dislike it almost as much as I dislike lasagne and if thats not measurable to you; its quite a lot. I'm not one to express my weaknesses but winter is definitely one of them, and an extreme one at that. This is something you must know to realise that it is rather strange that I'm accepting winter in 2013, with open arms. Purely so that i can thoroughly get amongst this trend. Im dying to see how i can mix and match a military jacket! Thats not to say that I am wishing summer away, let me assure you summer is essentially; my unborn baby. I love it so much i could smother it in so much juicy goodness that it would stay with me forever. Undeniably summer is my favourite, i mean who doesn't get giddy over the idea of beach all day, cocktails all night, breezy cute dresses, a constant up roar of changing nail polish and stacking bracelet upon bracelet upon bracelet, sun on my skin and the smell of BBQ's in the air. Mmm summerrrrrrrrrrr.
Anywho, i love these military jacket looks all which are available on Polyvore. Cannot wait to rock it somehow, somewhere and I love summer. Till death do us part.

Swish little Sunday

Swish little Sunday BBQ was on the agenda hence the cute little dress (which i sewed on Saturday), I do admit it is a little shorter than i would normally desire but in my defence i did wear swimmers underneath all day! At last my sewing machine is back out and about after an intense semester of being in the cupboard throughout college; I'm happy about this if you can't tell. I had a wonderful weekend and I hope you all did too.

7. Indulge in your lovers

From top: smiling with my sister, fabulous shoes( maybe), my puppy Bali whom makes me happy
and lastly; one of my many angelic best friends who also doubles as a BF. Enjoy!

It always upsets me how un-intact (is that the right word?) it is that ladies of our glamorous world don't love themselves.
This gutters me and makes me feel icky. I know at times I feel the same; don't get me wrong if I could have co-ordinated my DNA there would absolutely be things that wouldn't be here today and maybe even some perks that would but thank fully, I am surrounded by a mother and boyfriend who throughout their time in my life have imposed such a high regard for accepting me for me that well I ALMOST have. By being a believer in buddhist ways i think i put it down to mind over matter. And i'd like to impose this thinking on you sooo here's my...
7 ingredients to elucidate your beauty from within to throughout- because we are all beautiful.
According to me!

1. Smile, please.
Happy and healthy, radiant sparkles you are beautiful, no debacle!
2. A curling iron (available here)
Whether you're curly sue or wendy wu curling your locks will make you feel your worth; a MILLION bucks!
3. Fabulous Shoes! (like this)
Do not even hesitate, put them on. Looking fabulous makes you feel fabulous which is fabulous because you are fabulous!
4. Get yo' self a morning routine .... (for example)
There is absolutely nothing worse than feeling bloh so get some morning products to bring out the ta in your ta-dah. Okay.
5. Bestfriend
Im not saying that you're not beautiful without a bestie, but i sure feel as though my best friend brings out the absolute best in me. By experiencing this relationship you are experiencing something truly beautiful.
6. Knowing you are beautiful
Nothing makes anyone more beautiful than someone who accepts and loves them-self. I am a FIRM believer in building women in our society to truly believe they are beautiful. Because a) they are and b) loving yourself should be a given! We are all unique and wonderful and beautiful and we need to own that.
And 7. Indulge in your lovers.
Im not talking sex sex sex. Im talking  chocolate, tanning, shopping, reading, drawing, gym, and maybe a little sex. Doing things we love makes us happy and happiness is beauty at its purist! Seriously! Allow time to do the things that make you happy-

If you're happy, loving, feeling fabulous, smiling, supported and have curled those locks; you've nailed it. AND if not, well you're still beautiful.

Mystical Monday

Wearing: Ally top and silk shorts, Kmart sandals and Colette by Colette Hayman studs and skull ring.
Today I was almost late for my first day of work at Ally Fashion.  This is not how i usual am, I am normally rather punctual. Hence the most casual, ill efforted look for today. The shorts are unbelievable comfortable, and have such a cute pattern on them, but they needed to be toned down with a very basic white top. I love the detail with the button up front and cutout alteration. Cant say much about the sandals, the remind me of Jesus and they were $12AUD (get on that shiz nit!!) but they're simple and i love tan cuties for my tootsies. Unfortunately to and from work was freezing in this outfit! If i wasn't running late I definitely would have grabbed a jacket instead of my jam on toast!  Let me know what you think

Oh you, you stunning stud

Stylish Studs

GRUNGE studs

Topshop cropped shirt, 73 AUD / Karl Lagerfeld , 145 AUD / Glamorous hot shorts, 47 AUD / Steve Madden lace up booties, 165 AUD / Sam Edelman messenger bag, 490 AUD / Gathering Eye clutch handbag / ASOS studded bracelet, 13 AUD / Tech accessory / Redbean Forest Flowers Wall Decal, 87 AUD

With fashion regurgitating the punk era at the moment I thought i'd do a little post on trending studs! They're everywhere! Whether your style is pretty and girly, or rocker and rough; studs can be done with both. Which gave me the idea of creating two contrasting styles using studs! Let me know which one you prefer or if you're a bit like me and can't help but want to rock one Monday and the other Wednesday!
Keep it balanced, you don't want to be looking like a dog without an owner, so put those studs in the right places!

Plain T

Wearing: Supre Singlet, Melrose Ave denim shorts, Roxy Prism watch and Mink Pink sunglasses

Obviously this ^ is what I wore shopping yesterday, I did add a light pink lippy and some tan and gold sandals but you get the general idea- I'm loving plain t's at the moment. (sorry for those who hate people who wear no shoes but i live directly opposite the beach soo shoes are very avoidable)

I seem to be one of those people who can't find anything when they actually have money to spend. IT'S FRIGGEN FRUSTRATING! I did however, manage to grab some essentials that I was after...
An exfoliating glove ($2 for a pair might I add!), the new Schwarzkopf extra care Hair Repair which you you can expect a review on soon, also some Rimmel Volume Flash Mascara and lastly; new smaller bra's! The last item specifically, is something to celebrate, so don't pitty me just because the word smaller and bra's were put in the same sentence... theres still plenty of meat in that fridge! I also scored that $8 skull scarf from Cosmetics Plus, I seem to also be in love with pretty looking skulls at the moment, but we can talk about that later.

But, in all seriousness I'm loving online shopping! That way I'm never disappointed when I leave empty handed and bank account fully intact. The worst bit is the waiting! I mean I pay for it now, I want it now too! Does any one else find these the hardest battle? I practically run to the front door every time a post delivery van comes even remotely close to my house... You can imagine when they actually knock! One day you will see this form me, I prom prom. For now though you may take my word that the patience required to wait for online shopping spoils is intense.

LIfe's a lotto?

5 first items

5 first items by ell-demack featuring leather biker pants

Lets face it, we all love the idea of winning lotto, whether thats because the night before we spend hours planning and deliberating each and every hundred of thousands or because so much energy is put in to the build up of handing over that tiny number filled slip with so much anticipation you could almost die. I don't know, maybe we're all just mechanically wired to fall in love with the chance, the idea, the opportunity of something different.
Tuesday's $50 million lotto draw started for me at about 5am, with my rather special boyfriend claiming to have dreamt about filling in the lotto winnings form, so all day I was reminded of the importance of buying us a lotto ticket.

Wednesday began at around the same time, instead this time it was due to Brad (the boyfriend) all chirpy, letting me know he was leaving to check our lotto ticket. What a surprise no winnings... but it still led me to the train of thought that hey that first day of knowing i was a millionaire would be insane.  Spontaneous shopping trips and luxurious treats, mmm i want to win the lotto next week!
This is what i would have owned today if i had of won.

1 These leather trousers have been a must have for me lately, just haven't won the lotto yet.

Blame her if you must

Hello Blogosphere it's true. I've decided to blog. This may be the worst or best thing I ever allow the internet to see, you can be the judge of that. Lets start off by celebrating the fact that I just finished my first semester of college! (yeeharrr) Good riddance ill time management and severe stress until we met again in a summer subject in ... 3 freeing weeks. Although i am studying branded fashion for some unaccountable reason i was put through the immense stress of vis comm subjects, hallelujah for that departure from this very very very un-graphically design focused girl.

I have however learnt so much in what feels to be very short amounts of time; this may explain the sudden ideology that of course I can write a blog. This light bulb moment also requires giving credit to the very helpful very lovely blogger The Look Lite who encouraged this thing. SO, blame her if you must.

Short and sweet, welcome to frisky freedom. Endorse yourself in my outfit inspirations, product reviews, crazy spare of the moment thoughts and please, let me give you the feeling of taking your bikini top off on an open beach.
